12-Pin Industrial-RGB Video Adapter Cable

PRODUCT PARAMETERS

Function & Application

The core function of this cable is to convert the 12-pin proprietary video interface of industrial control motherboards/equipment into standard RGB/VGA signals, for connecting industrial monitors, touch screens, security large screens and other devices.
  • Comparison with consumer-grade VGA (15-pin): The industrial 12-pin interface is more compact with stronger anti-interference performance, specially designed for industrial control, medical, vehicle-mounted and other special scenarios.
  • Key Design Logic:
    1. Twisted Pair for Interference Resistance: Twisted red/green/blue signals cancel out electromagnetic interference, solving signal interference issues caused by motors and frequency converters in industrial sites.
    2. Screw Holes for Fixation: Prevent interface loosening caused by equipment vibration, meeting the reliability requirements of industrial equipment.
    3. Braided Mesh Protection: Enhance the mechanical strength of the cable root and extend service life.

Description

1.1 Connector End (Left Side)

  • 12-Pin Female Socket: A black plastic housing with 12 pin holes arranged in 3 rows × 4 columns, which is a proprietary video interface for industrial screens/industrial control motherboards (commonly found in industrial all-in-one computers, industrial PCs, medical/security display equipment). The 2 screw holes on the interface are used for anti-loosening fixation, ensuring stable connection in industrial environments.
  • Soldering Area: The solder joints at the connection between the interface and the cable are wrapped with black braided mesh sleeving, which provides anti-pull, anti-bending, and insulation protection to prevent the cable root from breaking.

1.2 Cable End (Right Side)

  • 3 Sets of Twisted Pair Wires: 1 set of red/green/blue twisted wires + 2 black shielded wires, with colored protective caps (red/green/blue/black) at the ends.
    • Tri-color twisted wires: Corresponding to the red (R), green (G), blue (B) primary color analog signals of VGA/RGB video. The twisted pair design is for electromagnetic interference (EMI) resistance, ensuring signal stability in industrial environments and avoiding screen ripples or color distortion.
    • Black shielded wires: Usually used for horizontal sync (HSYNC) and vertical sync (VSYNC) signals, or as ground shield wires, to synchronize screen timing and block interference.
  • Cable Sheath: Black PVC outer jacket, wear-resistant and anti-aging, suitable for complex usage scenarios of industrial equipment.
